EDC Orlando 2017 Lineup Review

diversity: The Same

If you’re not into EDM this might seem confusing to you.  But EDC always does a great job of offering variety within sub-genres.  Those of us who’ll be headbanging at the bass stage will be just as happy as those of us who are hanging out in the trance tent… just like we were last year.

Headliners: better

We know EDC always says the headliners are the festival goers… but let’s be real, we know who’s playing last.  Bringing in traditional crowd pleasers and mixing in a little bit of something that can’t be seen at just any old festival has us very excited to be at Tinker Field this year.

Overall: worse

Initial reactions to this lineup are that is feels shorter than last year, as in less names over all.  Maybe there was much of the budget put into getting better headliners this year that there wasn’t anything left for the middle card.  We’re sure EDC Orlando will still be a blast this year, but we imagine we’ll have a lot more time to walk around and see the sites because our schedules won’t be so full.
